First part of class was a review of what was accomplished thus far, and a quiz. Did not do to bad, but was glad for the review.
Today's Class Topics:
- Review of SUMO Paint online. How to get your photos from one extreme to the other when they are either under/overdeveloped to looking normal.
- Discussion on how to put together a flyer. Also how to put a background onto a flyer to really make it shine.
- Started on a MLA (Modern Language Association of America) project.
- Learned how to change bullets to different images and also the color of the bullets.
- Learned that MLA is used all over America and it also depends on what area of study a person is writing about.
- Learned that one gallon of black ink cost $10,000.
- Learned that when a picture is inserted into a document it is not compressed. By not being compressed, the document will take awhile for the receiving party to download when it is emailed.

These shortcuts will come in handy when working on documents and academic papers.
- F7 = Spelling Check.
- Shift and F7 = Thesaurus.
Learned about inserting a footnote into a document and where to locate it. A footnote is a useful tool for when someone wants to explain more on something, but do not want to take up all the room in the body of the document. The footnote is located on the "References" ribbon.
